Next bottle and can drive is October 3rd and 4th
It’s a challenge, but let’s see if we can top the $12,000 you helped us raise in April! Thanks to you, we filled 2 tractor-trailers to the brim with bottles and cans. And, thanks to all our volunteers who staffed the event. You all braved the best and worst weather that April had to offer that weekend to help send our veterans to Washington. Circle your calendars and start saving your returnables again: Our next drive is Saturday and Sunday, October 3rd and 4th at Destiny USA.

Taste of Syracuse will benefit Honor Flight June 5th and 6th
Honor Flight Syracuse and Feed Our Vets have both been chosen as recipients of donations from this year’s Taste of Syracuse at Clinton Square. Proceeds from Tops Friendly Markets and Summit Federal Credit Union will go directly to HFS and Feed Our Vets. Come to Clinton Square on June 5th and 6th, look for the Tops and Summit booths and say hello to our volunteers. Thank you to these generous sponsors and to the great Taste of Syracuse for helping our veterans!

Thank you Coyne for keeping our wheels turning
Every Honor Flight veteran has a transport chair if they need one. We want to express our gratitude to Martin Coyne of Coyne Facility Services and his employees for cleaning transport chairs before each and every mission!

Coyne Facility Services provides an in-kind donation of their services to ensure each transport chair is cleaned prior to use. Here they are, hard at work 3 days before Mission 24 took flight. Thank you Coyne!
