Sandy Smith

I am a CPA licensed in the state of NY.  I worked in public accounting for 25 years before moving to private industry.  I currently am the CFO of Xotech, LLC.  Xotech is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business out of Atlanta GA.  We contract with the Department of Defense offering a variety of services.  

I have volunteered for many organizations, most recently spending the last 9 years on the board of Echo Meals on Wheels.  My interest in volunteering for Honor Flight began years ago when my husband and I went to a homecoming celebration.  We did not know anyone flying; we just wanted to support the veterans returning.  The experience moved us.  I knew that day that I wanted to volunteer for this organization. I started out by making quilts and donating them.   Shortly thereafter, I signed up to be a volunteer and here I am!
