Clear Path CEO: “Willing to be vulnerable” is where healing can begin

Ryan Woodruff served two tours of duty in Iraq with the Marines. In his first deployment, 14 members of his unit didn’t make it home. Ryan’s service as an infantry rifleman left him with a host of unresolved issues. Seven years after he left the Marine Corps, he discovered Clear Path for Veterans, both as a client and a peer mentor for other veterans making the same transition to civilian life. Under his leadership, Clear Path’s canine program became nationally-accredited, matching veterans with service dogs who help the vets find peace, comfort and resilience. Now the Chief Executive Officer of Clear Path, Woodruff sat down with Dan Cummings for an extensive interview on WCNY’s Community FM. Click here to listen.
