Honor Flight Syracuse’s volunteer coordinator Steve Nee is receiving his own special honor. The Central NY Business Journal has named Steve the “Volunteer of the Year” for non-profits! He’s being recognized for his years of service to Advocates, established 30 years ago by parents of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization serves more than 1,100 children and adults in Central New York. They offer entire families support, training and services, empowering them to lead full and meaningful lives. Steve will be recognized at an awards luncheon on March 26 at the DoubleTree by Hilton. Next time you see Steve, tell him congrats!
