Family Reunion at the Welcome Home
Rhonda Koskowski’s dad, Harold Farden of Sterling, went on Mission 22 with her brother, Jack Farden, as guardian. They had 21 family members at his Homecoming! Below is Rhonda’s text to her friend and Honor Flight volunteer Deb Henderson. (Rhonda is on the far left in the picture below).
Harold Farden served with the Army (Corporal E-4) in the Korean War from December 1953 to November 1954, and afterwards in the Cold War.

“Deb, I just wanted to thank you and all the wonderful volunteers for making Dad’s Honor Flight experience so memorable…. I just came back from visiting him and he is still in a state of awe. He just couldn’t say enough about how nice and helpful everyone was and how smooth the day went. He told me … something like this only could happen in the USA. It certainly was a true example of patriotism at its best…❤️🇺🇸❤️”
