For Kathy Allen, it started as a guardian on Honor Flight Syracuse Mission 4 in 2014. What followed was an immediate and long-lasting partnership between TOPS Friendly Markets and HFS.

Her husband and his father are both Army veterans. Her brother served in the Navy. And for more than 5 years, Amy Haviland volunteered her service as recording secretary for Honor Flight Syracuse’s philanthropy committee.

In Philadelphia, on October 15, at the Annual Congress of the United States Naval Order, our co-founder, Rear Admiral (retired) John Paddock was honored for his volunteer service to the Naval Order and for his service to veterans… by citation!!!
